Film recommendation: "Bill Cunningham New York"

Billcunninghamny

An excellent documentary I watched on Netflix Instant last night. I think it's just out. The guy is on his 29th bike so far, after having 28 stolen(!) This staff photographer mixes with all levels of society in NYC wearing (every day?) $20 blue Paris street sweeper's smocks as his "uniform", lived for many years in a tiny apartment in Carnegie Hall filled mostly with file cabinets, bathroom down the hall, no kitchen (he never ate in). ;-)

IMDB gave it 8 out of 10. (I find that when their rating is around 8, a film is very, very good to superb.)
